Reasor's Goes Pink for the Cause

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Reasor's is proud to support the cause by launching special, fund-raising activities throughout the month that customers can get involved in. The program, "Pink for the Cause," encourages shoppers to look for products marked with a special pink tag. When these products are purchased, supporting manufacturers will donate a portion of the proceeds toward the fight.

Visit the special in-store Pink for the Cause display inside every Reasor's location for a free coupon guide with over $25 in savings on Pink for the Cause products. For every coupon that is redeemed, Proctor & Gamble will donate an additional 2¢ toward the fight against breast cancer. Free educational brochures with information on the prevention of breast cancer are also available.

Locally, Reasor's is proud to support the Tulsa Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® by donating 50¢ for each pink reusable shopping bag purchased. The pink reusable shopping bags are available for just $1 each, and customers can save 5¢ off their total purchase for each reusable bag they bring in and use for bagging groceries.

Customers can also purchase $1 Pink for the Cause donation cards at the register. Donation cards will be displayed at the store and all proceeds directly benefit the Komen Tulsa Affiliate.

Join Reasor's in the fight against breast cancer by supporting brands that help fund breast cancer research by purchasing these Pink for the Cause products in the month of October. With your help, our participating manufacturers will donate over $2 million toward the fight against breast cancer.

Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and launched the global breast cancer movement. Today, Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.
