Pistachio Recalls

TAHLEQUAH, April 1—The FDA is currently investigating Salmonella contamination in pistachio products sold by Setton Pistachio, a California-based company. The company has issued a nationwide recall of approximately 1 million pounds of its products. The FDA recommends that consumers avoid eating pistachio products until more information is available, and they will be updating their pistachio product recall page with the latest company recalls. This voluntary recall is unrelated to recent recalls of peanuts and peanut products.

Reasor's is carefully scrutinizing our store shelves to determine if any of our products contain the recalled pistachio products. We are diligently monitoring the situation as the FDA investigation unfolds. Setton pistachios were sold in bulk to other manufacturers and could be found in an array of products ranging from bulk nuts to ice cream and cookies. In the days to come, companies that use pistachios as an ingredient will be closely examining their products to determine if they have used the recalled Setton pistachios.

Links to breaking information can be found in the Safety section of our website. We will let our customers know immediately if any of the products we carry are recalled. For your peace of mind, customers can return any pistachios or products containing pistachios purchased at Reasor's to your nearest store for a full refund.

Reasor's remains committed to the health and safety of our customers and will alert our customers as new information comes to light.
