TAHLEQUAH, OK — [June 26, 2012] — The wait is over for Sand Springs residents as Reasor's officially opens its doors for business tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. The 65,000 square feet store is located at the northeast corner of Hwy 97 and 41st street. An official ribbon cutting with members of the Sand Springs Chamber of Commerce will take place at noon.
"Thanks to the City of Sand Springs and Crossland Construction we were able to complete the store 30-60 days ahead of schedule," said Allen Mills, Reasor's president and chief strategy officer.
The new store features the finest quality and best value customers have grown to expect at Reasor's, including sushi, seafood, meat, produce, bakery, deli, olive bar, specialty foods, pharmacy and an in-store Tulsa Federal Credit Union.
The produce department will feature an expanded organic section, with an emphasis on locally grown organic produce. Organic items will also be brought in from across the nation to provide Sand Springs residents with the best selection and variety available.
The deli will serve breakfast and also feature daily hot meal specials on weekdays for those shoppers looking for a convenient and delicious lunch or dinner.
"Being from Sand Springs myself, I can hardly wait for the whole community to experience the Reasor's difference and enjoy a store unrivaled in quality, variety, freshness, innovation and service," said Mills.
Sand Springs shoppers will also be able to sign up for a Reasor's Rewards card, a new program designed to reward loyal Reasor's customers with savings on fuel at Oklahoma QuikTrip locations.
The location created around 225 new jobs. Applications for part- and full-time employment are still being accepted online at www.reasors.com. Reasor's is 100% employee owned with competitive benefits packages including an employee stock ownership plan.
