Reasor’s Scoops for the Troops

Join Reasor's and the Oklahoma Chapter 1 Blue Star Mothers on Saturday, July 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at all Reasor's locations and have a scoop of ice cream for the troops! It's just a $1 donation for a scoop of delicious ice cream or a root beer float, and all proceeds go to support our troops.

The main focus of the Oklahoma Chapter One is to send Freedom Boxes to our troops serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and on any hostile foreign soil. These boxes are just a small way to say "thank you for your sacrifice and patriotism to our nation" and to let the troops know there will always be people back home thinking about them and praying for them. Keebler will also donate $1 for every package of cones sold on July 10th to Blue Star Mothers. Last year the combined efforts raised over $13,000 for Blue Star Mothers.

Baby wipes (small sizes, 60 to 80 count)
Chapstick or lip balm
Eyewash
Foot powder (small sizes)
Hand sanitizer
Paper disk mask (sand storms)
Razors
Roll-on or stick deodorant (no spray cans)
Socks (white, gray or black)
Sunglasses
Sunscreen (lotions or creams only, no spray cans)
Toilet paper
Toothbrushes, dental floss, mouthwash (small sizes)

Food and Drinks:
Candy, gum, mints (wrapped, single sizes)
Crystal Light drink sticks
Drink mixes – Gatorade, Kool-Aid (dry powder only, no liquids)
Snack foods (single size servings)
Tea bags

Luxury Items:
AA or AAA batteries
Handheld games, Frisbees, small play items, playing cards
Paperback books (mystery, thriller and dramas are much appreciated)

Donations are also accepted Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm at 907 South Detroit in Tulsa at the Sun Building. For optional times to drop off donations, please call 918-599-9988 or 918-906-2012.
