Reasor's 5th Annual Track Classic
April 3, 2009

TAHLEQUAH, March 30—Reasor's will be hosting its 5th Annual Reasor's Track Classic this Friday, April 3, at Tahlequah High School. 20 area high schools will compete in this invitation-only event, which has become a premier track meet in Oklahoma. Approximately 900 student-athletes are expected to attend.

Reasor's funds the entry fee for all high schools, and will serve lunch to the nearly 100 coaches in attendance. Reasor's Meat Market will be smoking Certified Angus Beef® brisket and Sterling Silver® whole pork loin, complete with all the sides and trimmings.

In order to promote a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise, vendors will be on hand to answer questions about training tips, healthy eating, and also hand out free breakfast items, beverages, and snacks throughout the day to all competitors. Nature's Own Bread will have breakfast items on hand, and Love Bottling Co. will provide water and Powerade. Reasor's fresh fruit tent will supply apples, oranges and bananas.

Hiland Dairy will provide orange juice and milk—plain and chocolate. New research is declaring chocolate milk a great post-workout recovery drink, due to its high carbohydrate and protein content which aids in muscle recovery.

Reasor's will donate a total of $2,000 to the United Way on behalf of the top three placing mens and womens teams in a special relay race. First place is awarded $500, second receives $300, and third receives $200 in both the men's and women's division. This is the second year that the relay has benefited the United Way, an organization devoted to helping communities.

The meet will be held at the eight lane all-weather track facility located east of Tahlequah High School. Events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
