Back in the early 1900s, the Mathison family planted the first fruit trees on their 160- acre Stemilt Hill homestead. Since then, five generations of Mathison's have kept their farming traditions alive.
Along the way, the Mathison's developed great relationships with other family growers, who share similar values and have a passion for growing fruit. Together, we work hard to ensure that only the highest quality fruit makes it to consumers.
To help bring our apples, pears, cherries and stone fruits to the table, Stemilt partners with well-known organizations such as Sesame Workshop®, creators of the children's TV program Sesame Street. Stemilt also participates in the annual GoOrganic! for Earth Day campaign and many more events to promote fresh produce. Finally, our unique partnership with local celebrity chef, Jason Wilson, of Crush restaurant in Seattle, WA, keeps us closely connected to the latest culinary trends.
