Frosted Fruit Cooler

- Heat water and sugar to boiling.
- Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 20 minutes.
- Cover and refrigerate.
- Mix fruit juice and lemon juice into sugar syrup.
- Stir in a few drops of food color.
- Pour into 4 small glasses.
- Top each with a scoop of sherbet and garnish with a lemon slice.
