Herbed Noodle Bake

Noodles offer endless possibilities for meal planners. Here is a delicious blend of noodles, cottage cheese and sour cream that is infused with an intriguing blend of herbs
  • 4 ounces Egg Noodles (half spinach noodles)
  • Boiling Salted Water
  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Small Clove Garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Each Dried Oregano, basil and tarragon leaves
  • Dash Hot Pepper Sauce Salt and Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Each Onion and Green Pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or Margarine
  • Paprika

Add Ingredients to Shopping List

  1. Boil noodles in boiling salted water for 8 minutes or until al dente.
  2. Rinse with hot water and drain well.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Meanwhile, combine cottage cheese, sour cream, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, herbs, hot pepper sauce, salt and black pepper.
  5. Mix well.
  6. In a skillet, sauté onion and green pepper in the heated butter for about 5 minutes.
  7. Stir into cottage cheese mixture.
  8. Add noodles and stir until well blended.
  9. Spread into buttered 8-or 9-inch baking dish.
  10. Sprinkle with paprika.
  11. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
