Herb and Caper Mayonnaise

This is a derivative of the classic tartar sauce but it has a lot of capers and herbs so it is less rich and has a brighter, tangier flavor
  • 2 tablespoons Capers, drained and chopped
  • 8 Gherkins, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Chives, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Tarragon, chopped (rub leaves with olive oil, then chop at the last minute or they turn black)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • Salt to Taste

Add Ingredients to Shopping List

  1. Combine capers, gherkins, chives, tarragon, parsley and mayonnaise. Season to taste with salt.
