Pan Seared Pork Chops with Spiced Apples
  • 2 Boneless Butterfly Pork Chops
  • 1 Granny Smith Apple, cored and peeled
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
  • 1/8 teaspoon Ginger, ground
  • 1/4 cup White Cooking Wine

  1. Melt butter in medium sauce pan, add cored and peeled apple, cook until tender over medium heat. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and ginger.
  2. Stir to coat apples with spices.
  3. Add cooking wine and reduce heat to simmer until sauce thickens (about 5 minutes).
  4. Season boneless pork chops with Alder Smoked Salt and fresh ground black pepper. Cook in skillet over medium heat w/ 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil. (start pork chops when apples are placed on simmer).
