The J.M. Smucker Company initiated a limited, voluntary retail-level recall on three specific lot codes of its Hungry Jack® Original Pancake & Waffle Mix because it may be contaminated with Salmonella.
Roughly 9,500 cases of impacted Hungry Jack® Original Pancake & Waffle Mix product were distributed through a limited number of retailers and distributors nationwide. Only Best If Used By Dates 5/27/2019, 5/28/2019, and 5/29/2019 are impacted.
There have been no reports of any illnesses associated with this recall. Product is being recalled out of an abundance of caution.
