Help feed kids. Help the environment.

When you use reusable bags to bag your groceries at Reasor’s, you save 6¢ off your total purchase per reusable bag used. Now you can choose to pass the savings on to those in need. Inform your cashier that you would like to donate your savings to the Food for Kids program at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. All proceeds benefit children in your local community.

Since we kicked off Recycle Hope in September of 2011, $192,225.62 has been collected for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma!

Food for Kids

The Food for Kids Backpack Program provides weekly sacks of food to elementary, middle school and high school-aged children who would have little or no food to eat on weekends. The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma currently provides food to more than 5,500 students a week in 10 school districts across Tulsa County: Broken Arrow Public Schools, Collinsville Public Schools, Educare Tulsa, Glenpool Public Schools, Jenks Public Schools, Owasso Public Schools, Sand Springs Public Schools, Sperry Public Schools, Tulsa Public Schools and Union Public Schools. In addition, Food for Kids continues to expand through Partner Programs to communities across the 23 counties of eastern Oklahoma. These Partner Programs provide sacks of food at their local schools for children in their communities.
