Reasor’s ends another Food 2 Families Food Drive

Tulsa, OK - November 20^th through December 10^th, Reasor’s locations teamed up with local news station, KJRH Channel 2 for their 19^th Annual Food 2 Families Food Drive, benefitting the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Throughout the campaign, Reasor’s collected over $19,000 in monetary donations.

During the campaign, Reasor’s shoppers were given the opportunity to donate non-perishable food items, purchase pre-made sacks of the most needed items for $15 or make a donation at the cash register.  Reasor’s customers purchased 8,464 bags.

All non-perishable food items will go to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma that works with a network of 360 partner programs in 24 counties of eastern Oklahoma. These programs include food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, after school programs and senior citizen centers. Through this network, the food bank provides more than 450,000 meals each week. During Fiscal Year 2018, they distributed more than 28.1 million pounds of food.
