Spring for Meals Raises $41,000

Reasor’s ends their third annual Spring for Meals food drive with a success, raising $41,284.89. That is the equivalent of over 165,136 meals at $4 per meal for people in northeastern Oklahoma. The donations were accumulated from the $15 bag sales and the donation cards located at the registers and online. All 17 store locations participated in the drive from April 20^th through May 10.

“This fundraiser is just one example of Reasor’s ongoing initiative to eliminate food insecurity in the communities we serve,” said Amanda Russell, Reasor’s marketing and advertising director. “We are grateful for our employees and customers that took part in donating to this wonderful cause.”

All proceeds from the food drive will benefit the Food Bank and its network of 350 Partner Agencies in eastern Oklahoma, including food pantries, emergency shelters, soup kitchens, senior citizen centers and after-school programs.
